Absolutely not! The Tourism Jobs Bank welcomes people from all backgrounds and of all experience and skill levels to apply. This new employment initiative is open to all, from seasonal tourism and hospitality whizzes to those seeking a change of pace, and young people looking for their first job or gap-year gig, to the older cohort looking to scale back to a couple of days a week.
We can also support you in gaining basic qualifications (think RSA and Food Handlers certificates) if required.
The Tourism Jobs Bank works to match you to the ideal role for you (aka, your perfect gig!). The team look at a few factors when trying to find the best match for you, such as the location you’re wanting to work in, the type of work you’re looking for, and the type of venue you’d best be suited to. From here, we’re able to pull from a pool of jobs to find you the best fit possible. Plus, you’ll receive a welcome pack as well as going into the running to win the ultimate Geelong, Bellarine and Great Ocean Road holiday at the end of the peak season. (Sounds like a win-win to us!).
Once Alela and Helena from Direct Recruitment receive your application, they will be in contact via phone within 24-48 hours to discuss your location, your experience and interests, and what you’re looking for in a job.
